So, we bought the 8" Dreamaway Novaform from Costco a few months ago, and while mostly ok, one of my kids, prone to allergies, is showing some signs of discomfort. It may not be the mattress, but I am wondering, just in case. Does anyone know why the tag on the cover says "do not remove cover"? I cant find fiberglass anywhere in the label, the company overall seems certipur certified. I am wondering why the cover should not be removed and if anyone has experience with this mattress or any information contacting the company. (I have contacted the company as well, but checking for any crowd knowledge here) thanks!

I heard back from Novaform, so posting the response here for folks that might have this same question: Response from Novaform customer support: "The Novaform 8” Dreamaway is a 100% Polyurethane mattress with a Rayon/Polyester cover, there is no fiberglass in the mattress or the cover, it is entirely fiberglass free. The cover is put on the mattress while it is compressed according to fire safety standards; which is why it is non-removable."

I have a similar Novaform mattress. I removed the cover, washed on cold, dried on low heat, and re-installed. As far as I can tell there were no issues. The tag notes the cover is Rayon/Polyester.
