My husband and I just bought new mattresses (split King Tempurpedic) and want quality sheets to go with it. We have been using some cheaper sheets we found on Amazon with great reviews. They are soft enough, but feel thin and cheap. We both like silky smooth sheets (sateen maybe?). Does anyone have sheet recommendations? Thanks so much!

I guess this is the right sub, I'll report elsewhere if someone knows of another sub that's decently active which would be more appropriate.
Anyways, I'm looking to spend around $100 USD for decently quality sheets. Thread count, actual thread count, material used, etc.
I figure I can just buy it online, as sheets don't really vary too much from size to size like clothing sometimes does, so links to any recommendations are fine. I will be buying sheets for a full size bed, if it makes any difference
Mattress salesman here. Sheets can be quite the con. Thread count is how many threads fit in a square inch. Depending on thread size, good sheets are around 400-425. Anything higher than that and you're looking at over priced multi-ply sheets. This leads to piling and lack of breathability. So shoot for single ply 400ish thread count. My personal favorites are Egyptian cotton, bamboo, or tencel by a company called Dreamfit. Dreamfit sheets have straps that hold the fitted sheet down and the quality and feel is amazing. Should get the price you want by shopping online. Hope this helps. Sleep well.
