What bit do I need to sand glass?
Obligatory safety warning, in case you aren't aware - Silica dust is dangerous to inhale so you should grind glass or stone wet to limit the amount of dust, and wear appropriate respirator/work outside etc. For grinding glass or stone the best bits to use are diamond - either electroplated (cheap, thin layer of diamond grit) or sintered (more expensive, thicker diamond layer, lasts longer). Working wet with diamond bits will also help cool them and prolong the life of the bit. To get a smooth finish you can just use wet and dry sandpaper (silicon carbide is better than alu oxide) in increasing grits to get the finish you want. Note - To work wet with the Dremel 3000 you need the flex shaft so water doesn't get into the motor. More on reddit.com
Does anyone have a recommendation for dremel heads that will drill through sea glass?! At the moment all the heads I have are cracking the glass or not going in at all
Disclaimer: I have never drilled seaglass. But I have seen it done, and the person was using a vice to hold the piece, going very slowly and spritzing it with water. They did not use a dremel, but rather a implement that looked like a little drill press. I think it would be very difficult to hold the Dremel steady enough to not break the piece. More on reddit.com
What dremel bit do I need to trim small pieces of glass?
A fine grinding wheel. However, glass grinding I've done requires a water spray on the glass edge. Not sure I'd recommend that with a hand held Drexel tool More on reddit.com

Engraving Glass With a Dremel : 4 Steps (with Pictures) - Instructables
August 29, 2017 - There are a lot of different bits in this set, but a good place to start is with a ball shaped one. The engraving will cause a lot of fine glass dust, so make sure to wear a dust mask and eye protection! I’m using poster tacks to support the piece that I’m working on. This will keep it stable without me having to hold it. I’ve never used this Dremel before, so to get a feel for ...

How do you engrave glass with a Dremel? I have a master mechanic.
Answer (1 of 4): Very carefully, with a diamond cone. Mask off what you don’t want to engrave, and leave bare the outline of what you do . Go in very lightly, don’t let the glass get hot. You can spritz it with water. Be aware, it will want to skip and gouge and go outside the lines, ruining the ...
