The teaser trailer opens with Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) narrating, stating that his father (Duke Leto Atreides, played by Oscar Isaac in Dune: Part One) had something bad in his heart.

July 8, 2025 - Yeah, I figured Part 3 was kinda inevitable once they went with part 2. It's a bit neater, title-wise, though it raises the amusing idea of someone adapting God-Emperor (if this does incorporate part of Children) and calling it ... While promoting Dune (2021) at the 78th Venice International Film Festival, Villeneuve confirmed he planned to adapt Herbert's second novel in the series, Dune Messiah (1969), as a part of his franchise if the Dune films were successful.

While no release date is explicitly set for DUNE: PART THREE, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have set December 18, 2026 as the date for a "Denis Villeneuve Event Film," which certainly sounds like the next DUNE movie. There is no trailer for DUNE: PART THREE.
