January 9, 2013 - Dutailier chairs have their locking system made of metal, and the Shermag I had had the locking system made of plastic (I have read people complain about that breaking after 1 year of use) Make sure you sit in the chair and test it out when buying, not all cushion are created equal, one of the glider I got had a firm cushion, and the other had a soft cushion, but both are thicker than the shermag one.
