What Duvet Cover do you recommend??
Brooklinen makes some great sets, but quite a lot are returned cuz of shrinkage or the fabric getting scratchy over time (major ick) For cotton-linen blends, I’d recommend California Design Den or Sijo. Parachute has a nice relaxed look but can be high maintenance and tends to wrinkle heavily. Coyuchi is solid if you want something organic, but their king sizes tend to run a bit snug after a few washes. I’ve seen the most consistent feedback on California Design Den (linking it cuz its a little nicher ig). Its super soft out of the package and holds up well, full shade to brooklinen. All three are reasonably priced and feel higher-end than some of the bigger brand offerings in the same bracket. They also tend to last longer before you see pilling or thread fray. For washing, I usually suggest cold water, gentle detergent, and low tumble dry or hang dry if possible. Avoid fabric softeners or bleach both mess with the finish. If you like a crisper look, toss in a dryer ball or two to soften without chemicals More on reddit.com

Oh man I’ve been on this mission my whole adult life and haven’t struck gold just yet but I’ve learned from some mistakes. My best recommendation is to not buy online. Go to a store and actually feel the products. Don’t choose cost over quality. Natural fibers are always better than synthetic. I hope you find the best one out there! Please lmk if you do so I can try it too 😄 More on reddit.com
Quality duvet covers?
No, you don't know. Amazon is a retailer. Amazon sells some amazing shit. You buy BIFL bedding based on material characteristics, not the name on the label or by the retail name. Extra long staple cotton is the material. AKA Pima, Supima or Egyptian cotton which are other terms that mean the same thing. Percale is the weave. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/44654?csp=a&feat=4094-plalander&gnrefine=1 ItemTwin1Color/StyleMid-Blue is a quickshot example to show but do you like the looks and sizing.....that's a you question. What makes a good duvet cover? What do you suggest?
I make my own because no commercially available one was just right. Its fun and easy and a great way to get started on a sewing machine. All straight seams, maybe curved corners, and a few tie-ups. I get used flat sheets at the thrift shop, cheap and you can feel the thread. More on reddit.com

Quality Duvet Covers & Duvet Sets - IKEA
The primary difference between comforters and duvets is that duvets are designed to be used with a protective, removable duvet cover, while a comforter is typically an all-in-one design without a removable cover. If you’re more of a visual learner, consider that some folks refer to duvet covers as a giant pillow case—it’s fairly accurate!

What is a Duvet Cover? | Duvet vs Comforter – Crane & Canopy
Sometimes referred to as a comforter (especially in the United States), a duvet is a type of bedding that is a soft flat bag filled with down, feathers, wool, or a synthetic alternative. It is protected with a removable cover, the duvet cover. The duvet set originated in Europe and was made from down feathers because of its usefulness as a thermal insulator.

I am in the process of changing my bedding, and upgrading from a Queen to King. I went down the rabbit hole and got some sheet, mattress, pillow etc. Gosh, it was a very fun
Now I am trying to find a good duvet cover, do you all have recommendations? Budget is around 200-250, willing to spend a little more if the product is really great.

I got my duvet cover from pottery barn https://www.potterybarn.com/shop/bedding/duvet-covers-shams/ I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives, but at least everything from them seems to be good quality. I went with a 100% cotton one from the winter selection that went on clearance a while back and im pretty happy with it. [edit] they still have it, but not in the color that i bought it in. https://www.potterybarn.com/products/stewart-plaid-duvet-cover-shams-multi/ only white is left but not bad for 80$

Company Cotton™ Percale Solid Duvet Cover | The Company Store
4 days ago - A: Hi Petra. The Classic Cool Cotton Percale Bed Duvet Cover is a comforter cover. Its easy to think of the duvet cover as a big pillowcase that needs to fit over the comforter. Its less like stuffing your comforter up into the cover, and more like pulling the cover down around the comforter, then fluffing the whole thing at the end.

Hey guys! I was wondering if there were any amazing duvet or duvet covers yall would recommend? Everytime I buy one the duvet is super flat or the duvet cover rips after a couple washes 😭 I'm specifically looking for one that is pink or white or both but at this point ANYTHING will work!!

For summer i have ikea duvets. They not super fluffy ( not at the purchase time too) but survive several years of washing just fine. Duvet covers - I never had issues tbh. I had west elm, some from Macy’s ( it’s was a bit random from clothing brand, I was picking based on colour) and my current linen is HM of all things ( and I love it)
