Is there a way to get the camera to reset completely automatically?
Meaning - when I turned it on for the first time, the lenses were pointed down and the baseplate was parallel with the camera.
The only thing we have found is to rotate the lens part down by hand, and then I’m not sure how to get it to rotate.
Is there an automatic way?
Anyone else get this message when trying to calibrate or goto?
It’s just not working for me, ready to return it
Switch On.
Line up the hips.
Point eyes up 45 degrees where there are stars.
Stay in Photo mode for now.
Change exposure to 1 sec.
Change gain to 60.
Zoom in on a star and quick tap -+ to focus. Don't use autofocus. Count your taps either side of 'sharpest' so you can backtrack etc.
Now go to Astro mode and calibrate.
Never fails unless there are clouds.
That's a standard message it states during the calibration process to indicate it has reached its rotation limit. The calibration process is tricky for sure! It's our main struggle right now. There are some helpful YouTube videos and written tutorials from the company that helped us iron out our process
I have deleted the files from My D3 via PC. I didn't delete the Dark Cal frames but the shots instead. Now I can't shoot anymore. The device throws error of memory full. I tried to reset but there are no instructions or any option available on the app. Please Help. I had the most clearest night of this year and now it's all fucked.
