Dwarf reset to factory defaults stuck on " - Troubleshooting - MOD Audio Forum
October 14, 2023 - Dwarf factory default system restore using image moddwarf-v1.13.3.3259 .tar and instructions from ttps://wiki.mod.audio/wiki/Factory_Reset_Images is stuck on “CHECKING FILE”. I’ve powered down and tried several times with the same result. I had no trouble copying the tar file to the drive on my macbook, and the dwarf finds the drive and the file.

May 25, 2026 - For those who have specific post-processing work flows that may require the use of those files, you can always use the calibration files (CALI_FRAME) stored in the DWARF 3. r/DWARFLAB on Reddit: Reset to original position
November 27, 2023 -

Is there a way to get the camera to reset completely automatically?

Meaning - when I turned it on for the first time, the lenses were pointed down and the baseplate was parallel with the camera.

The only thing we have found is to rotate the lens part down by hand, and then I’m not sure how to get it to rotate.

Is there an automatic way?

FAQ & Troubleshooting Guide for DWARF Users | DWARFLAB Help Center
March 14, 2026 - Your DWARF does not have a built-in filter holder like the DWARF 2, nor does it support attaching standard 2-inch filters to the exterior of the lens or body. Internal filters also cannot be removed or replaced. If you want to use additional filters, you’ll need a DIY (do-it-yourself) solution, such as a custom 3D-printed filter holder or another third-party mounting method attached to the lens area.
