I am new to telescopes and always did astrophotography using my phone. Wanted to get a smart telescope but everywhere it shows dwarf 3 to he 549 usd. Are there any sites to purchase it for cheaper? Also what would be cheapest but good tripods for it?

So I've seen a lot about it recently and I'm very tempted to get one. Just wondering if anyone has one? How is it? I'm mad keen on astrophotography.

basically what the title says. which one is better for taking pictures of deep sky objects (specifically galaxies) Im looking at getting a smart telescope before I jump into the more expensive side of astrophotography and get a full blown rig.

My only dislike between the two is the fact that the Seestar has the wierd FOV that reminds me of a phone screen. otherwise any suggestions would be amazing.

Edit: I know the dwarf 3 is also very new, so some comparisons could be made to the dwarf ii

Hi guys. A question for astronomers. I want to buy a telescope for myself and drew attention to dwarf 3. Is it worth taking it for observing planets (the small aperture value is confusing) or to look at normal telescopes from well-known companies?

I talking as someone who wants to buy a smart telescope.

I'm totally inexperienced with Astro but just learned about smart telescopes and it sounds like they'd be a really fun toy to play with. I live in London so don't get very clear skies, so I like the idea of something very portable which I can bring on holiday to clearer skies. There's no point in investing in a larger setup which can't be easily taken around.

From my research it seems like the two smallest high quality options are the Seestar S30 and the Dwarf 3, and from what I can tell, ignoring cost, the Dwsrf is a better spec. Is this accurate to say? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Does anyone have a Dwarf 3? If so, what do you like and dislike about it? Is it worth the price, and do the pictures come out clear?

I fucking love the dwarfs. Short guys with too much gunpowder and who can’t let go of the slightest wrong against them almost tickles me more than guns n crabs.

But I TWH3 they have been quite weak, and I was thinking perhaps I should give the chaos dwarfs a chance?

Then I saw that the price of the dlc. 24 dollars? Wtf.

The saw the guns, and now I’m stuck at a cross road. Guns are cool, but 24 dollars is 24 fucking dollars (😏).
