June 27, 2022I also took a look at the Dyson Ball Animal 3+. I didn't really like it.
I have a dyson ball and it's been a couple of years, and it would fall apart with a normal user. I really try to baby my vacuums, and it feels cheap. I have the tiny dyson ball vacuum at my parents home and it's still chugging on. Suction kinda is okay imo with dyson. I don't feel like it's amazing. It's just okay. More on reddit.com

Of course the Miele Classic C1 is better than a Dyson upright or Dyson canister but marriage is not all about who's right, right?
I like u/PerformanceReviews2's suggestion of taking your wife to a local vacuum store that sells Miele and hopefully Dyson too so she can try them side-by-side. When you see a Dyson at Target next to a Bissell and Dirt Devil, the Dyson looks like an angel, next to some real vacuums like Miele and Sebo that still cost the same the Dyson looks cheap. The Sebo K2 Kombi and Sebo E2 Kombi are also good alternatives to the Miele Classic C1.
Hopefully your wife will like that a Miele Classic C1 is powerful but quiet and by using a suction only floor head she won't have to cut any hair off of the brushroll.
However she's right, if she's going to be using the vacuum she should get to choose it. It could be the best vacuum in the world but if the user doesn't like it and doesn't want to use they won't.
