Dysons aren’t very liked here. If you want a bagless upright, it’s the best. I have a few in my collection. It’s a decent cleaner. Pretty bulky so it can’t go under furniture. It does eat small rugs so not recommended for that. And if you have large flat rugs it can stick to them pretty badly so you’ll have to manually open the front gates. Dyson did outsource their once excellent US based customer support and it has now become really, really bad. If you skim r/Dyson you’ll see many nightmare experiences. The powerheads on these often have issues, I’ve gotten a few replaced under warranty, but I worry about the people buying new ones now. If you’re committed to bagless, wash the filters religiously and regularly. It is vital. With good care my Dyson uprights have lasted 5-10 years with a few parts here and there from eBay. So it’s doable, but not the best option of you have any allergies, sensitivities, are hard on vacuums, or clean under furniture often.
