Recently got this vacuum as a gift, and it has a bunch of a different attachment heads. I have no clue what most of them do. Does anyone know what they all do?
Hi, I have a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 Cylinder vacuum cleaner - model CY28. Currently the roller head that comes with that model doesn't work great on my carpets, there's too much suction and it's hard to push. But I noticed that on Dyson's newer models, like their cordless line, there are sliders to adjust for suction, I think something like that would work better (unless anyone has any better suggestions!)
But I don't want to purchase a whole new vacuum.
Online I found this adaptor: https://shop.manchestervacs.co.uk/dyson-upright-vacuum-cleaner-spares/dc75-cinetic-spares/dyson-light-ball-big-ball-cinetic-tool-adaptor-set , which allows for old DC model attachments to work with my vacuum and newer cylinder vacuums.
The same website also has this: https://shop.manchestervacs.co.uk/dyson-cordless-handheld-spares/dyson-v8-tool-adaptor , which allows for V7/8/10/11 heads to work with each other.
Is there any middle ground between the two, like CY28 to V8/10/11? Or any head that would be compatible with mine?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
Sorry if this isn't the right place.
Hello, I would like to know if the quick release tools from the v8 could fit on the Big Ball Multifloor 2 canister. Like the mattress tool, and combo tool. It seems to have the same quick release fitting. Please let me know! Thanks! 😊.
