I just this week purchased a refurbished Supersonic from the Dyson eBay store. I've only had it a few days, but so far so good!. In the past, I've purchased a refurbished stick vacuum (2017) and a refurbished Pure Hot + Cool air purifier/heater fan (2020) both from the Dyson eBay store. Both are still going strong (**knocks on wood**)! The way I see it, if it was originally defective, the fact that Dyson has repaired it and I assume they have given the item a complete once over, it stands a good chance of being in near perfect condition. When I was considering it, I was amazed at how many knockoffs and look alike hair dryers are out there. The peace of mind from buying it direct from Dyson is worth it. Also, you may have noticed that the price on their eBay store is a bit higher than the price on their web site. They are the same, it's just that on the Dyson site, the price does not include shipping but on their eBay store it does include shipping. The other thing to note is that when you click on the item in the eBay store, you'll see a lower, with coupon price. The one I purchased was listed as $249, but when I applied the coupon, it dropped to $212. As for the warranty, I do believe it is the standard 1-year from Dyson. Hope that helps! More on reddit.com

You can purchase it refurbished through Walmart.com , and it will be shipped and sold by Dyson with the same 1yr warranty they offer on the Dyson Renewed website. It’s much less expensive on Walmart.com ($229.99-$249.99) than it is Dyson.com ($349.99). Additionally, you can purchase a 3-4yr warranty through AllState to provide additional coverage to the product (I just did this today with a refurbished HP04 + 4yr coverage). Also, you’re able to return the product (if purchased through Walmart.com) if you decide you don’t want it unlike Dyson which is final sale. Use Rakuten if you don’t have it already to get extra cashback on your purchase through Walmart.com, and check if your credit card/debit card has any bonuses for Walmart (my BofA card did).
