I had a Dyson for years and it was fine, I didn't have any particularly strong opinions about it other than cleaning it was a little annoying. Then I used my mother in law's Miele and realized Dyson is, indeed, expensive trash. Sold the Dyson, bought a Miele, have been in a cleaner happier home for a decade. More on reddit.com
