To be honest I only thought those fake Dyson rip offs looked nothing like Dysons, they might look 80% there but you can tell its not from Dyson. So it was definitely my own arrogance that I bought it without checking it over. It was only by chance after looking at reviews of Dyson Supersonic did a video of someone reviewing the super copies of the super sonic did I understand that what I bought was a genuine supercopy. Youtube's algorithm does it again. Honestly I wouldn't have noticed, but there are small evidence that really adds up to tell me its totally fake.

People say the real supersonic gets really really hot, this gets meh not melt your face off hot, its like the back of your refrigerator hot. But it does blow, I disassembled it before, but forgot to take photos, but everything looks like the real thing even on the inside. The motor control doesn't have any Dyson branding on it which is very big red flag.

Dyson won’t tell you so there really is no way to know. Purifiers have been out of stock for almost 8 months… Set the stock alert emails and check sites like boots / Argos daily

Edit: Argos do have some in stores but unsure where you live and there are some left on the eBay outlet which you can usually get another 10-20% off depending on promo and they usually come in immaculate condition with a 1 year warranty
