Hello! A few years ago I got a Refurbished Dyson V10 with a bunch of the pet-focused accessories. We live in a small 2-bedroom apartment with all hard wood floors and an assortment of fluffy rugs throughout the home. Our cat is also quite the shedder.
The V10 has been great at picking up loads of loose cat litter and cat fur along with normal debris and whatnot. However recently we’ve had some accessories start to malfunction. Our wand (I guess this is what Dyson calls the long stick piece?) no longer clicks the attachments in so everything won’t connect properly. The tangle-free head is well… tangled. I’ve attempted at cleaning it but I think I need a replacement roller if not a whole new head. Also was going to order a new filter as it’s time.
On top of those, we’re trying to save space and noticed Dyson is selling a storage kit that neatly holds all of these goodies which would allow us to free up some drawer space elsewhere in the home where we keep them currently and also the vacuum would have a home versus wherever we currently used it last.
All of these replacement parts + the organizer would be ~$350.
So my question is… for ~$350 is there a vacuum (bundle) that can replace the Dyson V10, good for a fluffy cat, lightweight and cordless, that has space saving organizers that’s a better option than just buying more parts for this V10?
Willing to spend a bit more if it’s a genuinely worthwhile upgrade. $425 is probably the top end of our budget.

I would not invest heavily into this older vacuum, the battery and main motor is liable to go next. If you want to keep it operational, I would maybe look into salvage parts from 3rd party sellers and save the bulk of your money for the next upgrade. I do have the v10 as well and all the bells and whistles and the stand, but while i like the set up, I hate the fact that the stand set up won't work with other vacuums. The LG vacuums usually represent a better value than Dyson because many are bundled with a stand and multiple replaceable batteries

I tried to order the part directly from Dyson but after a month of not shipping, they cancelled my order.
Are there any third parties that sell authentic replacement parts?
I bought the vacuum refurbished from Dyson, so there’s no warranty. The closest repair shop is an hour away.

What's the exact issue? You can find "for parts" motorheads on eBay for cheap, but they often need some refurbishment i.e. broken trigger replacement, and all of them need cleaning. If you're handy it's not TOO hard to replace just the motor unit itself.
