What are the main differences between the Dyson V15 Detect Fluffy and Absolute?
Does the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute offer better filtration or battery life than the Fluffy?
Is the Dyson V15 Detect Fluffy worth the price if I mostly have hardwood floors?
The V15 Detect Absolute is $100 off on Dyson’s website. What am I missing on these two vacuums?
I was hoping to get the V15 on a Prime discount.
Why is the Absolute $100 off?
What’s the difference in the V15 Absolute and the V15?
Is the V15 Absolute the latest model? I noticed last week they had the “1st Generation” at $100 off, which I no longer see offered on the website.
I’m currently in need of a replacement vacuum, long story short I have had a v8 and loved it and damaged the housing of that and a v10 due to multiple drops because we weren’t allowed to screw things into the wall so I couldn’t mount it. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ve gone months without a vacuum. Our current place is all hardwood floors and tiles on one level abt 1900sqft, whenever we buy a home hopefully in the next year or two I will assume there will be carpet in the bedrooms. Do I go for another V8 since it’s on sale for under $300? The new version on the stain website comes with a fluffy head for hard floors that I didn’t have before and desperately need. The v15 is currently on sale for $499 which is the lowest price I’ve seen for it, I’m just not sure if it’s worth the extra $200. We loved our v8 and while the v10 was fine it also didn’t have a soft head for hard floors and it didn’t really wow me one way or the other. I remember being amazed at the v8 probably because it was used on carpet then but still it was a great vacuum!
Trying to decide whether the Gen5detect is worth the additional $200USD over the V15 detect absolute. Down to these two since they both include the built in tools and HEPA filtration (both improved from base V15 detect). Differences on Gen5 seem to be: (+) better light for showing dust (+) better battery (+) more suction (+) shows on display if area is clean (+/-) no trigger…not sure if good or bad (-) heavier by ~1lb
Those who have used…do these changes represent +$200 in value over the previous state of the art?
Can someone explain if there is any difference between the two? The absolute version appears to be $150 more expensive so I can't see it being significantly better...though it is out of stock whereas the total clean isn't out of stock
