The V15 Detect Absolute is $100 off on Dyson’s website. What am I missing on these two vacuums?

I was hoping to get the V15 on a Prime discount.

Is the V15 Absolute the latest model? I noticed last week they had the “1st Generation” at $100 off, which I no longer see offered on the website.

Hi! I can't decide between two v15 models. As the title says, I wonder between v15 Detect Absolute Gold with HEPA filter and v15 Detect Absolute without HEPA filter. I'm looking on the German site and the prices are as follows:

v15 Detect Absolute Gold (with HEPA) = 599 euros (no discount)

v15 Detect Absolute (without HEPA) = 500 euros (with discount until tomorrow)

I'm not sure if 99 euros worth the HEPA filter.

Does anyone can compare them and only them and their filters?

Ive been looking at a v15 for a weeks now and im shocked at how little info there is in the models. V15 Detect, Absolute, Total, Complete, and the different colors on Amazon. I'm a bit confused about the difference between these two machines. I bought the Absolute when it came out in the UK about 4 weeks ago but about 2 weeks after that the Complete was released at the same price. I thought the only difference was that the Complete included the light pipe crevice tool.

After seeing a post here about some German models, I dug a bit deeper and I see that the Absolute is about 250g heavier has 10AW more but is listed as "whole machine filtration" while the Complete says "HEPA whole machine filtration". I contacted Dyson for clarification but I did not receive any.

I'm not sure if I should return the Absolute for the Complete instead as I'm still within the 35 day return period for another week. Any thoughts?

We’re looking to buy our first cordless Dyson, but I’m so confused with their product naming practices and the website is not helpful at all.

What is the difference between the two? I understand that the Absolute variant comes with more accessories, but isn’t Detect Plus the newer model with a more advanced filtration system (the blue HEPA filter)? If so, why is the suction power of the latter lower (230 vs 240 of the non-plus)?

And one more question: is the fluffy roller really worth the extra money? We mostly have hard floors in our house and a golden retriever, does it pick up hair better than the standard extension or is it mostly a gimmick?
