Dyson V8 Animal + any good?
Dyson V8 Animal worth it?
The Dyson V8 is probably sill the best of the Dyson cordless stick vacuums.
Cordless stick vacuums are not suitable to be your only machine.they are designed for quick pickups and cannot do deep cleaning or continued cleaning. The V8 has a battery life of about 8-10 minutes onits highest setting which is really the only sitting you're going to end up using. Here's a video showing the power differences on the supposedly more powerful V11 https://youtu.be/cPFBCp_lPqw

Anyone else have problems with the Dyson Stick V8 Animal +?
Putting a Dyson back in it's box to be sent back to the depot is the biggest pain in the ass. Why is there so much extra shit in this box? All that extra cardboard just makes it impossible to get that thing back in there, so I usually throw it out on top of having to take the vacuum apart. Which hopefully the person didn't try to pick dog crap or something.

Might be a general question but let me expand on it.
I've been watching a lot of vacuum wars and it came down to the budget Larasar option or a secondhand Dyson. I opened up offerup and saw someone selling their Dyson V8 animal plus for $50. They said it works well but the battery is not holding a charge long enough to clean their house. I went for it. It was a bit dirty but I spent an hour and a half taking it apart and cleaning it up. It runs about 6 minutes before it dies. Is it worth getting a new battery? Or should a relist and look for another one? Or go with my budget option. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
