I'm between purchasing the V8 and V11.
The V8 is being sold for $350 on Dyson.com, and Costco is selling the V11 during their black friday sale for $500. I'm debating the $150 price point because of Costco's no hassle return policy. If 4 years down the line, I need a new vacuum, Costco should be able to take it back no questions asked. Is it worth the extra $150 for the warranty and (I guess) getting a better overall vacuum? What would you do in my situation?

Sorry to add to the array of comparison posts, but I couldn't find one for these particular models. I'm currently choosing between these and they're pretty much the same price. I have seen that the Outsize is bigger and bulkier, but given I'm currently using a crappy stand up corded vacuum, I'm wondering if that will be an issue. Ultimately it seems like the V8 Absolute is relatively average. I generally couldn't find much else that people had to say about these two in comparison with each other. Is there anything in particular that would sway you one way or another between these two? I live in a three bed apartment with hardwood floors and a good amount of area rugs. No pets, but my apartment has three women with long hair.
Happy Easter to those celebrating!! We have an Amazon special $100 vacuum right now and want to upgrade. Is the Dyson V8 origin worth it in 2024? Or better to save up for something better? Thanks!
Both of these vacuums are on a discount at Costco. We have 4 cats but it is a big house. We have mostly carpet upstairs and hardwood and tile (with a couple area rugs) downstairs. The price is not important because I will be using a rebate cheque to buy it.
I am undecided but leaning tward the V12. I read that is has an on switch that does not need to be continuously pressed, but the collection bin the the V8 is bigger.
Does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on these two vacuums?
