Dyson not honoring warranty! I went to Dyson.com trying to get my vacuum serviced. Dyson told me my 5 year warranty was a "glitch" and went into my profile and changed my warranty to 7/7/20 and told me I was out of warranty. Does anybody know what the warranty policy was back in 2018?

I don’t know why they would say it’s not covered. I’m pretty sure Sephora would be an authorized seller so you can register it on the Dyson site for warranty. I’m getting my air strait from Sephora Tuesday so I can update More on reddit.com

That’s a completely different process than I’m used to. In Canada they don’t request your old vacuum back, they just ship you a replacement and tell you to recycle your old one. I can’t offer any guidance but I hope you get your machine back quickly! More on reddit.com

Hello, this will be my 1st dyson. And I am looking at jasper plum curly to coil airwrap. I can get 20% in the sephora sale rn, however the Dyson CS and sephora both said they won't honor the dyson 2 yr warranty if purchased from sephora. So is 20% really worth it ? I am super pessimistic and not sure what to do.
Advice which is the best option. TIA!

Has anyone gone through the warranty process of getting a whole new unit? My vacuum was having all sorts of issues so I made a claim through Dyson and the woman instructed me to send my current vacuum back through UPS and once received they would mail out a new in stock vacuum. How long did this take for you? I am in the US. I mailed my vacuum back last week, and am going slightly crazy not having a vacuum for the time being. I never received an email of any kind reiterating the instructions I was initially given over the phone when filing the claim, no info to track the exchange or claim or anything.

My experience was to have it send back to them. Once they received the unit I got emailed about it. It took a few days for them to inspect the old one, but once finished I got emailed again about the new unit being shipped out to me. Im an in the EU btw.
