I've been using Ebay as a guest for the longest time, & been pretty happy with it.
I had to create an account recently, to communicate with a seller. The account is based on my email address.
If I go to purchase again just as a guest, when I enter my email address as part of the purchase process, will Ebay recognize this, & force me to log in?
I've been happily listing and working on ebay for an hour. I click sell similar, and ebay kicks me out and I have to sign back in. I heard people complaining about that, so I wasn't too surprised. Now my create listing page is in a format I've never seen. Has ebay changed stuff again? I hope not because the new listing page sucks. Then it was asking me for my item weight in grams and length in centimeters. what? Then when I pick a shipping service and it's all canada post and things I've never heard of. I save the listing for later and notice that at the top of my screen near the sell button in a canadian flag. I click it and I have the option to change the language to french. After some clicking around. I can't fix it. All of my listings are shown in Canadian dollars. That's it. I guess I'm canadian now. Can anyone help me? I don't want to be Canadian anymore.
After some panic, I think I fixed it. Somehow it was that sell similar listing. Fortunately I have a million tabs open at all times and one of them still had the american ebay. I created a new listing from american ebay, Copied all the info over from the Canadian listing, closed all the canada ebay windows that I had opened. I also deleted the candian draft. Thank goodness american ebay still had the old listing screen. Canadian listing screen sucks. So I think I'm good. I swear it felt like a canada virus. Every new window I opened from terapeak to preferences was just a corruption of grams, meters, weird money, and expensive shipping options.
