I cannot find a way to sell items on Ebay through my desktop. There is no Ebay app for desktops in Microsoft Store or any other place that I can find. Surely there must be a way for people who dislike working long hours hunched over a cellphone to sell on Ebay from an ordinary tabletop computer. Please advise . . .
I use my pc all the time for years selling on eBay
I use https://www.ebay.com app
Just saying
Ebay app for Windows 10 PC
Why cant I login to Ebay on desktop, whereas mobile works fine?
How to add a URL like eBay to your desktop as an icon?
New Seller Pro Tip: Use the desktop version of eBay.com, NOT the mobile app to create and maintain your listings.

Hi, I'm David, an Independent Advisor, here to help you.
The official eBay app for Windows 10 was discontinued a long time ago, however, it has an app called "Explorer for eBay" available. You can download it at this link.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions.
I tried Firefox/Edge/Chrome/Brave on Windows/Mac/Linux and could not log into Ebay. The site "ebay.com" loads fine, i.e. it loads completely. However, when I click on "sign in" on the top left, 2 things happen:
If I enter my username, Ebay shows the error "ebay.com refuses to connect"
If I use my email, then Ebay shows some rubbish like:
"As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running."
A quick search shows people also struggle with Ebay signin on desktop:
cant login using Google: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ebay/comments/1azz3yg/cant_sign_in_to_ebay_with_my_google_account_on/
endless login loop: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ebay/comments/v57tmt/having_issues_with_an_endless_login_loop/
Most solutions suggest clearing cache or use another browser. I tried all of that and still could not get past the errors. On mobile browser and mobile app, it works fine.
Any idea is appreciated.
I've always been able to do this before Windows8Pro. You go to the internet, say, www.ebay.com and you'd like to make an icon on your desktop for ebay.
I don't see anyway to do that. I'm sure it must be there.
I know how to make a shortcut from an application to the desktop, but I don't see how to do the same for a URL address. Thanks, Steve
Hi
Use the desktop version of Internet Explorer.
Go to the Desktop and click the Internet Explorer icon on the Taskbar.
Navigate to the website that you want to create a shortcut and place on the desktop.
Right click an empty spot on the website page and select the Create Shortcut option. Click Yes in the confirmation prompt. This will place the shortcut for the website on your desktop.
Manually creating a shortcut is almost the same as creating a shortcut for an application. The only difference is that you type the URL for the website in the Location Box, instead of the path to the application.
Regards
