What do you sellers do about buyers 'i just dont like it' return requests?
What do you do when a buyer selects the wrong return reason?
Buyer wants return, ordered by mistake on no return item
It depends on the return reason. If he chose 'ordered by mistake', I believe you can decline it.
Call eBay to double check.

Hey there, as the title says, what do you sellers do when a buyer receives the item, and instantly makes an ebay dispute and return request and in the reason for they write 'i just don't like it'
The reason I ask is surely the seller is then in a position of financial loss due to the cost of return postage, packaging, time and effort? And ebay should not be putting sellers in such a position? I mean, what if all buyers on ebay bought an item, looked at it, and returned it because they don't like it? Did the listing not explain things clearly enough? Were the listing pictures not enough for the buyer to make a purchase choice? What is the point in even writing a description and adding photos, when the seller should just put basic words and let the ebay return process rule.
If a seller lists an item as 'returns not accepted' does this make the slightest bit of difference?
How does a seller list an item which states that if the buyer wishes to return the item they must pay the return post fee?
Thanks for listening :)
I offer free returns, which may be dumb but whatever, I’m customer service oriented.
So it grinds my gears when someone selects one of the INAD reasons to return an item and the comment is literally ‘just didn’t like it’. LIKE BRO YOU CAN SELECT THAT AS A REASON. Is there a way to get this to not negatively impact my metrics?
