How do you access the product research feature in the app? For me when I hit the selling tab it says list an item.

Terapeak vs Sold/Completed filter
Searching sold/completed may not show listings that have sold but not ended (either due to being a multiple quantity listing or the seller using the "out of stock" feature to keep the listing active). It may show items that have sold previously that were only recently ended manually by the seller if you are sorting by "ending date". In theory, Terapeak should only show transactions where the buyer actually paid. If the transaction was canceled or unpaid, it should not show up in Terapeak at all. More on reddit.com
Product Research (Terapeak) now on Mobile!
I also started using it on mobile lately. Great addition to the eBay app. Makes checking comps a lot more accessible when on the go. More on reddit.com
Is the Terapeak Sourcing insights worth the cost?
It's free to all users. Accessible on the "selling" tab on mobile. I find it pretty helpful. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Announcements/Terapeak-Product-Research-is-now-free-to-all-sellers/ba-p/31797231 More on reddit.com

r/eBaySellerAdvice on Reddit: Terapeak vs Sold/Completed filter
April 28, 2024 -
Hey guys, when searching for products that are selling, for a given search term sometimes terapeak will show no sold items, but when searching through the ebay app and filtering for sold and completed items, it does yield results. Anyone know how and why this happens, and which is more accurate to use?

Terapeak is very inconsistent for me as well. Sometimes it shows no solds, sometimes it shows solds from totally different products. Because of the inconsistency I have to check manually anyway so to save myself from wasting time I just ignore it completely now.

Got this banner message when I refreshed Terapeak on desktop today. Hopped over to the app and it's listed under the selling dashboard. It's a pretty easy to navigate interface and it does go back 3 years. However, there doesn't appear to be a filter for new/used/refurb/etc. Still great when researching items while on the hunt.

Open the API though. I want API access to price history. They know how valuable that data is. You can do basically everything through the API except get at that database.
