Shopify or ecwid?
On Ecwid.. should I be using Shopify?
I've never heard of Ecwid. All I can say is that I know Shopify, and I don't like it. We're running a store (not dropshipping, mind you) and we're currently looking at approximately $400 in Shopify-related expenses per month (apps and what not). For a start-up, that's quite a lot IMO. I know WooCommerce fairly well and I know for a fact that, had we gone with a WP site, we'd be looking at maybe $20 per month instead. So for what it's worth, my recommendation goes to WordPress with WooCommerce.

Based off of my previous post, I started to dig into other print on demand organisations. Gelato and printify seem to price wayy lower but they both have options to integrate with Shopify, not ecwid. Ecwid only has printful and to have customised integration is super costly. The thing is, the pricing plans for ecwid Vs Shopify. Shopify basic comes at $42 per month whereas ecwid has a free plan and their basic plan comes at $28. Shopify does have a $1 per month for first 3 months deal but I worry if I'm gonna be able to even get sales by then. Thoughts?
