Best alternative to ElephantSQL?
ElephantSQL (free Postgres) is shutting down, so Iโm building a spiritual successor, mkdb
Alaternative to a free datase? ElephantSQL is shutting down?
ElephantSQL Alternative allowing hundreds of connections for low price
As many of you know, ElephantSQL will be discontinuing its service. I was using it as a free hosting for my PostgreSQL projects and I'm not aware of many alternatives. What would you guys suggest for free tier postgres hosting?
In order to keep my portfolio clean, and presentable to potential employers, what alternatives do you suggest?
ElephantSQL will cease to exist at the beginning of 2005. This is a real bummer.
Hi! I am an educator and I create a postgreSQL database for my students to use on ElephantSQL. Additionally, I have them create free databases so they can learn how to create their own. I really like ElephantSQL because they allow for hundreds of connections with their Hippo plan for less than $100/month. At the same time, they have a free tier that is intuitive to set up. I barely have any data in the tables (it's only about 3000 rows of data with about 10 columns) since I only use it for educational purposes. I am not concerned about security or the data being hacked, in fact I'm ok to even publicly store the data since it's all fake. What is the best site for me to use to set up my postgresQL database?
Hi all! So i am looking to get a job in junior web-dev so for it i want to create some full stack projects that only i and the people that have the link could use, so for something so small i don't want to buy a database on the cloud so i was searching for something free(that also didnt require billing information) and found ElephantSQL. Has anyone used them? They offer a free tier which is 20mb which seems pretty big for what i want to create (also i will block posting records or reset the database every day so i don't use up those 20mb). Are they safe? Am i not at risk of getting billed for something, also how many of those free instances can i create(couldn't find info on that)
