However, three years before Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr met on the dueling grounds in Weehawken, New Jersey, Hamilton's son Philip also engaged in a duel regarding remarks made about his father.

May 8, 2024 - Alexander and Eliza Hamiltons resting place is at Trinity Church cemetery. The carefully conserved monuments were established approximately 200 years ago on the southern burial ground and are comprised of sandstone and white marble.

Daughter of American Revolutionary and United States Senator Philip Schuyler, she later became the co-founder and deputy director of New York’s first private orphanage. She was also the wife of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, and her gravestone stands next to his today.

1 week ago - Schuyler was interred near her husband in Trinity Church graveyard in Manhattan. Angelica was also laid to rest at Trinity, in the Livingstons' private vault, and Schuyler's eldest son Philip was buried in an unmarked grave near the churchyard.

May 4, 2017 - It’s an impressive, location at the heart of 18th century New York, and Trinity boasts not only a storied history, but also serves as a key, perhaps even the key stop on the Hamilton pilgrimage route. He’s buried there. As are Eliza and Angelica Schuyler (Peggy, the third Schuyler sister, is in Albany).

Alexander Hamilton was buried near the southern fence of Trinity churchyard. Today, his monument stands above simple vault stone of his wife, Eliza.

Alexander Hamilton`s wife, Elizabeth Schuyler, lived until the age of 97. During this period she co-founded the first private orphanage in New York City. She also helped to raise money for the Washington Monument.

June 14, 2018 - The burial place of Alexander Hamilton, Philip Hamilton, Angelica Schuyler, and Eliza Schuyler. It was quite peaceful here actually. I expected this place to be full of other Hamilton Fans, crying their eyes out because he's dead. Instead, I found like a ton of coins at his grave.
