Casting for this show was phenomenal, and Elizabeth Debicki was the cherry on the top. There were some eery and uncomfortable moments throughout the season when it seemed like Diana was still with us, Debicki was that good.

I keep trying to think of a way to describe this performance. She seems to be bringing Diana to life in her body somehow. Even sitting still she manages to evoke Dianas posture. Her movement, her voice, everything. It is the absolute best casting of this season for sure. It’s worthy of an Emmy (and a Bafta? I don’t know what the British version of an Emmy is called).
