Hello everyone!
Riding high from yesterday's post, today I got the chance to try on my latest wardrobe addition, a Dark Green DB Suit from Suitsupply's Emerald Green Collection.

Design
My favourite colours are dark green and dark purple. The moment I laid my eyes on this in the website I knew it would be my Christmas Gift to myself for 2018. This is not a suit that you would wear in the most formal of meetings or business formal environments and it takes confidence to wear it.
Suitsupply salesman Jordan in Stockholm told me that exact thing, which to be honest I am quite proud to radiate.
It is beautiful. Nice, slim cut with relaxed shoulders, beautiful dark green colour that will surely stand out and in my opinion very versatile. It goes incredibly well with brown but all you need to do is take a look around in nature and trees. Perfect combo.
Classic 6+2 buttons, and patch pockets which makes it a tad less formal. Pants are slim but not super slim which I welcome and it means I can wear thermals underneath with no problem.
Peak lapels are the cherry on top.
Closer Look
Fit
Both pants and jacket are size 48 and I am 178cm tall (about 5.84 ft.). The jacket fit rather well and I tailored it very little, probably like 1 cm to make sure my cuffs would show just a little. It varies because all my shirts are tailored differently of course.
Pants were long, so we did tailor them a little. I like a clean straight cut and not showing my socks.
Nice Clean Cut
Overall I am very happy with how it looks and feels. I can move around freely and I do not feel constricted by any means.
Quality
The fabric is pure wool, but it feels a tad heavier than the S120's I usually wear. It also has a texture feel to it, it is not as smooth. For me, this is a great thing as I want some texture and the thicker wool protects me better during the winter.
Everything seemed to be in order, no problems with stitching and it is quite interesting that inside the pants the lining is white.
When I received it, I got the usual garment bag and a hanger which does the job. However there were some white threads on the suit, but they did not seem to come from itself if it makes any sense. No biggie, I spend a few minutes at home and removed them, while also carefully cutting open the pockets and the vents.
Conclusion
Was it worth it?
Absolutely! My god it is gorgeous! It feels great, it wears great and it just looks so good in the winter and with brown shoes.
I kept the shirt simple, with a light blue normal collar and chose a vibrant floral purple tie from Charles Tyrwhitt. The pocket square is subtle with some shades of blue to compliment the shirt, but not take away your eyes from the tie and suit colour.
Chelsea's are great as always and a classic from Loake 1880.
