I always had a deep desire for an update on the Hogwarts Founders. We are use to the Founders just talking about harry potter and the quidditch match. But, what if September 1, the Founders have a few lines about the first day of classes. What about, the Founders have a holiday overlay and they can talk about Halloween and Christmas. To spice things up and make people see something new at the castle

Is this a crazy idea or is it something that seems actually possible? A highly themed hotel that looks like Hogwarts inside and out. I feel like it would be a huge success as long as the prices for rooms aren’t extremely absurd like Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser hotel. I know I’m not the first person to think of this but what are your thoughts?

There is a difference between theming a hotel after IP such as Harry Potter and making it a high dollar experience such as star cruiser. If it is a hotel with standard hotel rates plus a small premium for the theming it would likely do very well. The main issue I see is continuity. This is very big to Universal. I do not think they would have a "second" Hogwarts as there is only one in the story. Having one located in the park and a separate hotel would break from the genuine following of the stories.

After the flop that was starcrusier I don’t think they’d ever do this. At least not a full hotel. Now a hotel with HP themed rooms like Disney has for many of their IP that could be a possibility. I was also talking with someone the other day about themed cruises. Where it’s just an overlay of the usual cruise but for that cruise only it’s Star Wars, avengers or Harry Potter themed. Something that can be put up and down fairly easily, would bring in money cause it’s a short time offer. That might work.
