Iโve cleaned the print head, and all the ink reservoirs are full but it still prints in only those 3 colors. I tried printing something with a lot of blue in it and the blue all showed up as pink.
Not sure what to do or how to fix this :/
Update:
I fixed it! I just had to clean the print head a few more times and now blue prints just fine :)
My ET-2720 is printing rather dark and I can't figure out what settings I need to fix them. I had the WF-7720 but it stopped printing and the yellow won't print anymore at all. So I got the ET-2720 and my settings from the WF don't work for the ET. Other than spending hundreds of $ on a product to fix it, or spending tons of time and ink on trial and error does anyone else have any idea what I can do to fix the print settings?
I just took my ET-2720 out of the box tonight. I put sublimation ink in it and ran through the setup. It goes through all the motions (and sounds) of printing, but the pages that come out are blank. And I mean blank. There is no way there is anything printed on these pages.
Now full disclosure. I read a suggestion somewhere that I not fill the reservoirs until I know the printer works. That may have been great advice, or it may be the source of all my woes. Or Iโm completely off-base.
I have filled each color up to the second line from the bottom. Is that enough ink to get this thing started?
Did it run through the initial ink priming phase of setup? That runs for like 5 minutes, or some such, and sucks the ink level down by about quarter/half of a line--as it takes that much ink to fill the ink lines and head.
Can you get anything to print when you run and alignment test page?
You can also try recharging the ink. I also would fill up the reservoir at least 3/4 of the way. Sublimation ink is fairly cheap and 3/4 will still leave you with a lot left over.
