running HP OMEN 16-c0xxx. Bios is f.03, trying to get f.17 (newest for the laptop on HP's website). I don't see anyway to update the bios from withing the bios settings, I have a USB with the update ready on it. And when I try to do it in windows, the exe says my bios update is ready, the PC restarts and then nothing happens
I did have to reinstall windows a few months ago so its not the factory install if that affects anything

Try using Hp Support Assistant or Windows Update (check optional updates too). Didn't have any issues until the present day using these automatic update services even for BIOS updates.

So, i have HP ENVY - 13-ad035tx Intel® Core™ i7-7500U. I was facing so issues with my laptop so I thought I should update all the drivers. I went to the hp website typed my laptop serial number and downloaded the bios update software. I ran it laptop restarted bios update went totally fine and smoothly. In the end it said your laptop may flick and restart a couple of time and after that my laptop didnt boot up or maybe its now showing display since i can hear fans working and power led is also working but I have tried external display but it didnt show anything.I have also tried making a bios recovery flash and windows + b key method but nothings happening. I also tried remving the battery for 10-20mins and also short clear CMOS terminals and removed ssd. Left laptop on for 12 hours. Nothings happening
