February 7, 2022 - Mostly used for shipping 1 single trading card or 2. However, like every program Ebay has ever come up with, it's works poorly. It doesn't make any difference if you mail these letters through the USPS. They will be happy to receive them, but that ESUS tracking # is not theirs and they'll tell you first hand that they have absolutely no way to track your package.

ESUS is is eBay's standard envelope tracking. They don't get scanned upon delivery, so the delivery date is estimated based on the time they get scanned at the destination post office. Many times it's a few days off.

November 25, 2023 - More evidence that USPS doesn't know what ESUS is is that often times the item ever gets scanned in at all. However, a few days later, the buyer writes me a message stating they received the item. I'm happy they got it, but from a seller's pov eBay withholds my payout for 30 days as long as the buyer doesn't complain.

February 8, 2023 - The post office does not recognize the tracking numbers and eBay says they were delivered. I got one out of three delivered. The two more expensive ones did not come, but the say they did. I even left negative feedback for auction kings and now I notice that it is removed. Wow? Lesson learned. January 30, 2024 - Sellers have, for years, complained that it did not make sense to ship low cost items in expensive packages. The stamped-letter method meant a lot of losses for sellers because delivery could not be proved. When eBay offered the ESUS method, that was a veritable life-saver for the stamped-envelope crowd.

February 17, 2025 - I'm sure that I am not the only one that is getting frustrated with this new ESUS shipping option. I have had so many updates from Ebay saying that my packages are out for delivery, including today, a holiday. The tracking is awful, some of the items have taken 2+ weeks to arrive.

October 12, 2023 - The more complex answer is that the eBay Standard Envelope was always meant to be processed and sorted with the automated mail processing equipment. This fact is baked into the price of the postage. Unfortunately, the USPS and eBay have done a very poor job of educating the public on how this mail would be sorted, tracked, and delivered.

November 20, 2021 - With ESUS, the letter/package is marked as "Delivered" when is is received at the postal zip code, not the delivery address.

ESUS eBay tracking numbers has 12 characters, it starts with 4 letters 'ESUS' followed by 8 digits e.g. ESUS12345678.

June 28, 2024 - This is my last time ordering anything from eBay. I have had 3 packages go missing with this SCAM SERVICE and I am then held at the mercy of the seller over whether I get a refund or not. I just want the item I ordered not to be scammed by eBay/Easy**bleep** or the seller.
