Hi All. I know this has been discussed like crazy. Any feedback is appreciated. Bought a single basketball card that showed delivered on 1/24. Never received. Only shows delivered to my zip. Reached out to the seller who said to check with the post office. I haven’t done this yet. Since they don’t provide the tracking for these parcels can they only tell me the GPS location of delivery? If post office can’t help, how long do I wait before submitting a did not receive claim? I’m willing to wait longer if it takes a few weeks. It’s only an $8 card so I’m not freaking out but it’s annoying and I want to know how best to handle this if it happens again. Thanks. EDIT: Received. Thanks All!
I've been buying cards and lately they've been sent with "ESUS" tracking numbers. They're all sent from within the US. They always say "Delivered" but they're never delivered that day. They don't say delivered to my address but just to my zip code.
Usually they show a day later, but I had an order that said delivered on Wednesday and it's still not here. What can I do? I have no clue what carrier to contact because it's so vague with the tracking number.
That is eBay's standard envelope tracking. They don't get scanned upon delivery, so the delivery date is estimated based on the time they get scanned at the destination post office. Many times it's a few days off. Since the tracking number is proprietary to eBay, USPS won't be able to help with it, so if it doesn't show up you'll have to file a claim through eBay and get a refund.
eBay takes awhile to update the tracking on the site.

This is just nonsense, why is this service even available?
I have placed a total of 7 different orders from different sellers that use this tracking service for teg cards below the 20$ mark, Wich as a first time all I knew it was I paid for shipping and I would get my card even tho it's not a fast delivery service, I was totally fine with that.
Then the nonsense starts happening, tracking never updates (ok limited tracking l'm aware) that's not the main issue, issue comes when all my packages start being marked as delivered on a different city of what my delivery address actually is, I live at the beach on a building with 24/7 front desk assistance (wich receives everything on the building) so there's no way different packages from different sellers at different dates are being "misplaced"
So, of course I filed claims to everything I didn't recieve wich some of them were close in my favor but I had to go through eBay customer service to actually get the other 4.
eBay, usps, Pitney Bowes, or realistically no one in the world is able to figure out where are packages being held or where tf are being delivered to, no GPS data is available nowhere, tracking numbers never exists outside eBay and it's only with ESUS tracking numbers, every single service that's not ESUS (stamp mail, regular first class mail, fedex, ups) brings my stuff all the time.
Back and forth with eBay and sellers we have been botth able to get our money back because realistically it's not the sellers fault or my fault as we don't really have access to anything, still gives me a bad image as a buyer and I hate it.
And yes, I understand that I can just message every single seller… every single time i have to buy a single card and specify NOT TO USE a service when they are literally allowed to on orders 20$ or less (or single cards) and should be making things easier for all of us.
All of this being said, anyone here on the internet has any way of figuring out ANY kind of info on where can I speak or contact someone that actually knows what's going on and point me in a way in how to fix my problem (wich I believe is a lot of us)
