Is the Wedding venue at Rose garden exposition park as bad as reviews online?
Here's the thing with planning an event. There's a lot of moving parts and each help make it a good or a bad event.
Did any of these reviews specify what their issues were? If they were from the actual vendor then it's time to do your research and know what you'd be getting yourself into with a venue.
If the reviews were about the weather well there are loads of things you can do to make it more comfortable for yourself and guests.
Thinking ahead and planning contingencies is what makes for a better event (wedding or not).

“Affordable” Garden Wedding Venues in Southern California?
If you get the chance, I highly recommend visiting the Rose Garden in Exposition Park. It's right across the street from USC, south of the main campus, and is easily accessible taking the Metro E Expo Line. Just get off at Expo Park USC Station (the third stop after you leave downtown).
I'm planning a wedding and adore this venue, but the most prominent reviews say that it was a terrible experience. Has anyone has a good experience or know someone who did?
I'd like to get in contact with you.

Not sure of the reviews, but if it's in the summer, it definitely can get hot and nasty out there in the garden.
I only went once for a wedding...rose garden was fucking hot, but when we finally moved into the one building, it was nice from there on out.
Hey yall!
I’m having a hard time finding the permit requirements to have a wedding at either location. I found one page that said you need a permit if it’s 200+ people(our ceremony will have like 15-20 people including my fiancé and I) but then proceeded to describe a block party. I can’t imagine you can get married at either for free/without the counties permission but I’m just not finding anything.
Anyone have any direction?
Thanks 916ers!
