new to arch. is there a good fan control app? i was trying to get fancontrol-gui to work, but no success. is there anything like FanControl that's on windows? i use amd 3600/rx 5700 (i don't think gpu is the issue)/noctua front/cpu fans. i'm not great with scripts or terminal yet so a gui app would be really nice.
this is what i'm referring to for reference.

I have an MSI laptop and recently switched to Arch Linux. I'm looking for an alternative to Dragon Center that allows me to control my fans and manage system performance. Any recommendations?
I have fan control curves set up in my bios. The CPU fan should be at 100% speed starting at 80C. My fan is rated for 1500RPM. However, when I run a compute-heavy task(e.g. Folding@Home) and the CPU hits 92C sensors claims that fan2(I can only guess it's the CPU fan, it matches CPU temp changes closest as far as I can tell) only runs at 1250RPM.
Sooo, how does fan speed control actually work on archlinux? Do I have to set it up myself? Does it actually override the BIOS fan control?
[The wiki page] states how to set it up, but doesn't mention how these systems usually work. I saw some forum posts that said one has to disable BIOS-smart-fan, but I'd like to keep the bios fan curves if possible. I just want to validate how to spin the fan up to 1500 RPM at high temps and why it doesn't seem to do it.
EDIT: Here's my pc parts list
EDIT2: Might have had a wrong source, BIOS has a test button to set it to 100% and there it caps out at 1250 RPM it says.
