Fan Control - A highly focused fan software for Windows
You can checkout the list of active plugins on the Github page. Fan Control backend is mainly based on LibreHardwareMonitor, an open source fork of the original OpenHardwareMonitor. This means that hardware compatiblity is entirely open for anyone to contribute, and doesn't rely on a single developer or company who may stop caring at some point.

How do i add it to Fancontrol, so i can control it this way instead of the temperatures. As it is now i only have possibility to control from temperatures in the program. Fan Controller plugin?
If a fan controller plugin exists I haven’t been able to find it. I thought I’d ask before trying to write one. It should be easy to set up a python script as a service to control the fan via GPIO, but for the life of me I can’t get vcgencmd on Volumio to work without sudo. More on community.volumio.com

May 18, 2023 - I'll leave it to you to read up on how to create custom sensors in HWiNFO, once you've learned that, all you gotta do is to create a custom temperature sensor, name it whatever you want, and set its value as the name of the percentage based sensor that you're actually interested in. This will create the same sensor, except it will have Celcius as its unit, which won't mean anything but at least now you'll be able to use that in Fancontrol ... I was looking at something similar with a plugin, but couldnt find any.

V235 includes the ability to side load a different version of the driver. If you take these extra steps it solves the issue. This is explained here . When I installed the update, WD triggered again until I took these extra steps.
