Step aside outdated "Speedfan" app, here is your successor.
If you want full control of all your fans (Including GPU fans) then this app is King and it's free. When I say, "Full control", I don't mean that you can just control all your fans, I mean fully control all your fans simply and creatively. The app is call "Fan Control". JayzTwoCents has a great get started video:

Here is how I have mine setup: https://imgur.com/nzEz9z4
Here are a few things you can do with "Fan Control" (Look at the picture in the link above to get an understanding):
-
Create as many fan curves that you want or need
-
Each fan curve can be assigned to a thermal sensor (CPU, GPU, or whatever sensors the motherboard is reporting).
-
You can combine individual fan curves into a Mix group
-
You can assign a fan curve to fan that is connected to a fan header, or you can assign it to a "Mix group". Any fan or set of fans that is assigned to a Mix group will automatically be assigned to the fan curve that has the highest temperature sensor (it will switch back and forth between the hottest sensor that a Mix group is assigned too). Remember each created fan curve is assigned to a sensor (CPU, GPU, or whatever sensors the motherboard is reporting).
-
You can do the same thing with GPU fans and anything connected to fan headers that some GPU cards have.
-
There is a lot more features
-
The Fan Control project is quite active with timely updates which can add new features.\
For those resisting by saying that FanSpeed is good enough or FanSpeed is simple and easy to use also need to know that the last day FanSpeed was updated was 21st of February 2015. That is over 7 years now, and it wasn't even built for Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Please NOTE: The app doesn't install on your computer; it runs with the unzipped folder. This allows you to move the folder to wherever you want (Even on a flash drive).
FYI - For Mac users running Windows: Most of you probably have a MacBook/Pro which is a laptop. It will not work as the developer states that laptops are not supported.
Should I set fan curves?
High fan speeds on Windows 11
Case fans not following BIOS custom fan curve after booting to Windows
Does anyone know how to use "Fan Control"? Also, I don't know what's killing my PC's gaming performance.
Is FanControl compatible with any fan?
What operating systems are compatible with FanControl?
Does FanControl require any additional software to work?

Today I installed Windows 11 on my second SSD for testing purposes. Everything seems to be working fine, except fans, which are running much faster than on Windows 10.
Does anyone else experienced similar issue? Below comparison between win 10 and win 11 fan speeds.

Same PC, same settings, just different OS.
EDIT: Adding additional information.
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Case - be quiet! Pure Base 500DX
Cooler - be quiet! Pure Rock 2.
Case fans:
Balanced air flow
Intake:
1x be quiet! Pure Wings 2 High-Speed 140mm (1600RPM)
1x be quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm (1000RPM)
Exhaust:
1x be quiet! Pure Wings 2 High-Speed 140mm (1600RPM)
2x be quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm (1000RPM)
A-XMP profile is set to run RAM at 3600MHz.
Screenshots were taken at idle state, PC was running for about 10 minutes in both cases.
CPU was around 35-37 all the time. About 37 on Windows 10 and 35 on Windows 11 (probably due to higher fan speeds). Also CPU usage was most of the time around 0%.
Ambient temperature about 18-20 degrees.
Windows 11 is freshly installed, but with all updates (this is the first thing I always do).
As for the CPU clock speeds - they are changing constantly from idle to boost (screenshot was just captured in the moment they were higher).
Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced.

Monitor your temperatures with attention, it is very important to understand how temperature works.
Add a linear curve and try these settings:
Don't forget to select your CPU package as a temperature source and select the graph on the CPU temperature. Ensure that "Manual Control" is turned off.
You can add the tray icon on the left menu to help you monitor the temperature.
Hi,
I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
To create fan curve on Fan Control, select the + icon on the bottom right corner > "Add "graph" fan curve" or "Add "linear fan curve" fan curve".
Set the curve, select the device you want to control the temperature > Select the curve you created.
