I'm in the UK and on Tuesday I ordered something from a US company and chose the cheapest possible FedEx International Economy shipping, which had an expected delivery date of the 14th September.
It actually arrived this morning :) So how does that happen?
Obviously I'm delighted, and I'm also intrigued to know how it negotiated the system so quickly when I was expecting it to take 2 weeks. Shipped in the US on the 1st, arrived at my door in the UK on the 3rd, all at International Economy price.
It was a very small, light package - would that be part of the reason?
Hey all,
I bought something a couple of days ago and was offered DHL or FedEx but ultimately was given FedEx without option and when reading FedEx's own website it looks like it would typically be here in 1 to 3 days if using Priority International. I have noticed though, that a lot of packages and stuff tend to get delayed and that 1 to 3 is a super optimistic if not rare number to get. What would be the typical time frame that is realistic for stuff to come from china that was shipped international priority in the current times? Should I be worried that it went from China to Japan and its been there since 3am JP time? Should I also be worried that there is no delivery date but I know that it went so far from china to japan in around 4 hours but nothing has moved and is on "thursday" time now.
Pls help?
