July 31, 2024FedEx 2-day shipping is more like who-knows-when shipping. Not worth the extra money.
Same thing with priority overnight -- just went through this myself with multiple shipments. One of my overnights took one whole week to arrive. I think because the express shipments relies on aircrafts and with all the weather delays going on, it's just been a completely crapshow with express. Hopefully they get it all figured out soon. Did it go out the day the label was created by the cutoff time? The shipping times don’t begin until FedEx has the package. You have the option for Saturday Express delivery if it was selected it costs more. Maybe the seller didn’t offer/explain the option. Sunday delivery is available in some areas for Ground shipping. If no updates with the tracking contact the seller and see what’s up. More on reddit.com

I have been using UPS exclusively for my store’s shipments for the past year or so. I guarantee 1-3 day delivery anywhere in the US and so far UPS has been very good at meeting their delivery estimates.
Fast forward to yesterday when a FedEx account rep knocked on my office door. He was telling me about their 2 day service for anywhere in the US and they charge a flat $8.
IF they can actually do this, it would be a substantial upgrade for my business and even save me a bit of money.
Anybody here use FedEx 2 day exclusively for their business? Have you experienced any delays over the past year or so? I’d love to know your experience so I can try to make an informed decision.

There's a size limit for the flat rate boxes, previously you had to use their packaging but I don't know if that's still the case. Personally, I'd tell my UPS rep fedex is sniffing around and this is what they're offering me. If you want to keep my business give me better rates all around. Fedex has been underperforming compared to UPS across the board, but their air products have always been strong. -Former UPS rep
