What in the name of heck is going on? My package is here in my city and was supposed to be delivered Friday. Then Saturday. Then Sunday. And now it’s saying by end of Day Tuesday. It’s literally RIGHT HERE in my city. And whenever I call FedEx it literally WILL NOT allow me to talk to an actual human being. The online chat isn’t even usable. I can’t believe I’m saying this but FedEx is actually worse than USPS. And USPS is TERRIBLE!
Edit: I just tried calling my local FedEx offices and it STILL WONT LET ME TALK TO A FLESH AND BLOOD PERSON. Is this company even real??
Edit 2: I finally spoke to a FedEx rep and, in addition to continuously refusing to let me speak to a supervisor and threatening to end the call, they told me that I had to call the company that shipped my package bc they couldn’t do anything about it. So I called the shipper (the online company I originally ordered from) and they agreed to reship my package with rush shipping at no extra cost. So hopefully this second one makes it and this thread can have a happy ending.
I work night shift for a company that ships with FedEx, and a good 70% of the calls are due to delays in shipment or lost packages, and we have to try to calm FedEx for information. I have tried figuring out online what the customer service hours are, but have not had any luck. I know when I have called after 8pm or so on a weekday, the call dropped when the system tried to transfer me to a human. I get a lot of calls on Saturday night requesting that we call FedEx right then, and if not right then, Sunday morning. Is it even possible to get through to someone on a Sunday? Or should my follow-ups be for Monday? Also, it's great that FedEx is now taking pictures when they deliver packages, but 90% of them are just blurry close ups of a box, or a picture of the box still on the truck.....
