I have a package I paid extra for Express Saver on to get it a few days earlier then standard shipping. So, seller sent it out and immediately the delivery date changed and went from 3 days to 5 days to after the weekend (So 3 days is Friday, then 5 days is Monday delivery). When standard would have got the package to me on Tuesday 6 days. Basically, a day after the new express saver change date. What was the point of paying $20 extra if I don't get it but one day sooner?
I have been tracking it to see if it gets to me sooner than the actual delivery date. And this morning I looked (3 days into shipping) it shows in the facility 5 miles from my house. I am so confused; the delivery date shows it will be delivered Monday (5 days after shipped). Will the package just sit there over the weekend. It is a somewhat expensive item so I want to be around when it gets delivered so I can be sure it doesn't get snatched.
So, the real question now is, if the package is in the facility on Friday morning. Will they deliver it Saturday, even when the Express saver says Monday-Friday delivery and delivery date shows Monday.
My gut says it will be delivered on Saturday, or even better it's on the truck now "out for delivery" and it just didn't update on the website yet. Just trying to avoid not being able to pick it up off the porch when it arrives. Thank you in advanced.

If feel ya. It's confusing. First, never think of Ground and Express as the same. They operate completely independently. Next, just because a tracking number was created, doesn't mean the package was shipped. Someone sat at their computer and created a label. Whatever you ordered may not have even been made, let alone packed and shipped. The clock starts when FedEx scans it. FedEx Express operates on business days. Monday through Friday. Express Saver is a 3 day. If it shipped on Monday, you would have it by Thursday. Tuesday.. Friday. Wednesday..Monday. They do deliver on Saturday, but customers pay a premium for those. If it's at the facility, you can go pick it up tomorrow. Check their hours, because they close earlier on Saturdays. I work for Express. Every package on my route that was not due to be delivered today stayed at the facility. It's my Friday, too, and 11 hours of delivering was enough.
