I’m attempting to schedule a home pickup for the first time, everywhere online says I should expect to pay $4 per package but when I go to schedule the one time pickup there’s nowhere to enter any payment information nor is a price mentioned. Am I somehow on the wrong scheduling tool? Any help would be appreciated!

I want to send in a phone for trade in to it's worth more. It has a prepaid label for FedEx ground. How much would it cost to schedule a one time pickup at my house?
Hi folks
I am moving across the country and need to ship a couple of boxes. I am planning to try FedEx Ground shipping home pickup and I have a couple of questions:
Is there an additional cost for them to pick up the packages from my place (compared to let’s say I go to a Walmart FedEx)?
Once I schedule a pickup, do I need to *print * anything out? I don’t have a printer lol.
Thanks!
I scheduled a one-time pickup on August 19th for the 20th, something I've done for years for free. I just received a bill for that pickup.
I called FedEx and the lady told me they've been charging that fee for "many years" which was never the case. I just saw online there was a change made August 18th and it's not free anymore.
Any way to get the fee waived one time? Not sure if I am blind and just missed it, but I definitely didn't see that advertised when I was scheduling the pickup.
EDIT: For more info, I've always had free ground and home delivery pickups, as long as they were one-time pickups (not recurring) and they weren't same-day. A quick search online shows I wasn't the only one, but I'm not exactly sure why that was the case for my account, seems like not everyone had those free.
I just noticed FedEx quietly increased my daily Ground pickup fee from $23/week to $43/week. That’s $170/month!! just for them to stop by.
I’m in a business complex with 3 other companies that also get FedEx pickups.
Not rural, not residential.
UPS $12/week for the same service. USPS free.
For me, FedEx pickup now costs more than the shipping savings. I usually send 1–6 packages per day, and this increase basically wipes out the value of keeping FedEx in the mix.
The part that really bugs me: no notice. They just started charging an extra $20/week.
Is this happening to other small businesses? Did FedEx roll this out nationwide? I’m debating dropping FedEx altogether, but I’d like to know if this is an isolated hit or a wider policy change.
