Are Festool sanders worth the cost?
Which festool sander?
Festool Drywall Sander : paint
Need help deciding which first sander to buy
I have the ets ec 150/3. It’s really powerful and does a good job picking up dust with my midi. I also own rotex 150 and 90 for the tougher jobs that’s why I opted for the 3 mm for the finer finish. I’d go with the more expensive ec because it’s lighter, more ergonomic, and brushless motor will last longer.
More on reddit.comOver the past year I have started taking on more refinishing jobs. I primarily go entry gates and teak furniture. I have always used Bosch sanders which I find work best, compared to Dewalt and Milwaukee, for what I do.
I am starting a very detailed/intricate gate that is my most ambitious project yet. I’ve been told that the Festool sanders can cut down sanding time by about %30. With efficiency like that it seems like Festool tools would pay for themselves relatively fast.
So, are they worth it?
Thank you guys for taking the time. I appreciate your input.

I'm far from a pro, but I'm looking to upgrade quite a bit. I'd love to hear what models y'all have and how you feel about them.
