Most users should use the static build, while developers need to use the shared builds (text copied & modified from Zeranoe).

But it was too cumbersome for me ... had to build from a Windows machine), so I wrote some script to cross-compile the binaries from Linux, and just downloaded prebuilt dependencies of FFmpeg and SDL (106b87a). This was a quick&dirty solution (which btw makes adding or upgrading dependencies very annoying). I'm not very proud of it, but at least it was good enough for solving my problem. September 15, 2020 - Im starting out on making animations on Krita and came across a big issue on rendering it to a video. It requires Ffmpeg.zenaroe to be downloaded but its closing in a few days and all the builds will be removed. Its saying to have a hosting strategy in place by the 18th.
