Install, launch ffWorks 5 and follow the instructions on the welcome screen.

Once you have a working FFmpeg file, you can install it for ffWorks using the FFmpeg Manager. To open the FFmpeg Manager, click on the FFmpeg logo button in the Toolbar. Click on the + sign in the lower left corner to add a FFmpeg file. The import ffmpeg window will be shown.

FFmpeg works on other platforms (it’s Linux-based) but it’s a command line tool. ffWorks isn’t free, but permits 10 free trial uses, and provides a more user-friendly GUI (graphical user interface) for accessing and using the powerful options in FFmpeg.
