How can I design an iPhone app?
What does it take to design an app?
How do I create my own app for iPhone?
Hi, I’m a front-end developer and I usually work with libraries like Bootstrap or TailwindCSS when developing websites.
I wants to learn mobile UI design and I’m wondering if there are UI kits available on Figma specifically for mobile app design?
Also, is it okay to use Google Material Design for iOS apps, or is it mainly for Android?
Any tips or resources for someone wants to learn mobile UI design would be really helpful!
Are there any no code tools that can convert/sync figma prototypes directly into production ready iOS and Android mobile apps, especially while keeping all of the prototype interactions added to the design?
It's very cumbersome to have to figure out how to manually replicate all of the figma designs, transitions, and smart animations I've already made say in FlutterFlow, since there is no real way to import/sync anything other than styles.
If I can essentially skip recreating my app's UX, that would be a huge time saver! And every time I need to update my figma design too, it would be great not to have to manually update my code as well.
Hey everyone! I wanted to prototype iOS 18 app flows in Figma — especially app launch — but couldn’t find a kit with native-style animations.
So I made my own: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1494071623063957463/ios-18-interactive-ui-kit
What i've included:
Unlock screen
App launch animation
Simple app switching
Interactive keyboard
Two-level context menus with animations
All built with Smart Animate — no plugins.
Sharing it just in case it’s helpful for quick demos, user tests — or if you’re curious how these iOS-like animations can be built in Figma.
Took a while to get the animations smooth — hope it’s useful!
