Do you use Figma?
Yes, we use Figma at my company, and I'd say it's industry standard at this point. We used to use Adobe XD until it was discontinued. Figma is fairly beginner friendly and I use it for wireframing personal projects as well. More on reddit.com

How to design iOS mobile apps in Figma | by Guillem Bruix | Medium
October 22, 2024 - Learn how to survive the design process of well-structured and responsive UIs with Figma’s Auto-Layouts and how to not be afraid of the Dark Mode using Variables. Hey! My name is Guillem Bruix, I’m a product designer who codes my own apps. My technical understanding of how to program native iOS apps with SwiftUI in Xcode helped me to design better iOS apps in Figma that can be easily implemented in code while remaining HIG compliant.

Figma App - App Store
I now understand that the headline says “View designs. Comment. Mirror.” There’s no mention of “Edit” - however, on the app’s main page in the App Store on iOS, there’s a screenshot that looked to me like the app provided editing capabilities. Since the whole point of Figma is to design, I don’t really get the utility of this app if all one can do is add comments or see how designs look on a phone screen?

Hi, I’m a front-end developer and I usually work with libraries like Bootstrap or TailwindCSS when developing websites.
I wants to learn mobile UI design and I’m wondering if there are UI kits available on Figma specifically for mobile app design?
Also, is it okay to use Google Material Design for iOS apps, or is it mainly for Android?
Any tips or resources for someone wants to learn mobile UI design would be really helpful!

Figma now has UI kits available that you can add to any file. Apple has a whole punch of these available within their Community page that you can either add to ur file as a library or copy the entire file into your drafts.

Hello dear community,
I'm wondering whether you developers also implement your own projects on the side. In addition to your main job. And if so, do you use Figma to create designs for it? And how easy is it for you to use Figma or create designs for your app?

It’s easier to just knock it out in SwiftUI imo. At work we have designers that use Figma and it’s super helpful, but most things are pretty easy to do in SwiftUI so I don’t use Figma for my personal projects.
