June 7, 2021 - It seems that my prayers were heard (Thanks Odin!), as finally FiiO included a very nice-looking leather case that fits like a glove to the M11 Plus. It’s well-made, it’s smooth and gentle on the outside and soft on the inside thanks to a velour padding. I don’t think you’ll ever need a third-party case after seeing this one, as it looks and feels outstanding!

Hello there, I am looking for my first DAP purchase and I'm quite confused with all the different models and I am currently flip-flopping between an M11S, M11 Plus (both used - approx £350ish) and the M23 (£649). Would the M11 Plus be a good purchase at this sort of price?
I am going to use the player as a storage device for FLAC, stream Tidal as well as playing local FLAC, and to play music to a pair of Bowers & Wilkins PX8 (AptX HD BT codec a must).
Thanks for any advice!

The M11 Plus is a great player - solid reputation. The M23, I believe, is newer so I haven’t really studied the specs or read many reviews. You can’t go wrong with FiiO - I have the M15S only because I needed a bit more power for a pair of hard-to-drive headphones I already owned and it’s performed excellently however it’s a little less portable compared to the M11 models.
